Delete your account

Inside the app

Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, the pairing, your keys, knock records, push tokens and any encrypted data still in transit, immediately and permanently. Your partner is notified that the pairing ended.

Without the app

Lost phone, uninstalled? Email support@dastak.app from the address you signed in with, subject “Delete my Dastak account”. The account is deleted within 7 days and you receive a confirmation.

What is deleted, what may remain

Everything the service holds for you is deleted (see “What the service does see” in the privacy policy). Hosting-provider request logs with IP addresses may remain for up to 30 days and are then purged automatically. Nothing on your partner's phone is touched; they keep their own copy of the conversation.
